1. Who we are and scope
AimyGO (“we”, “us” or “our”) is responsible for the personal information it processes in connection with its websites, games and related support services (the “Services”). Contact us at [email protected].
This policy explains our handling of information when you visit our website, play a game or contact us. The information involved depends on the game, platform, features you use and permissions you grant. A platform such as Facebook or an app store also processes information under its own privacy policy. Feature-specific notices supplement this policy where provided.
2. Information involved
- Information you provide: your email address, name, messages and any material you choose to send when requesting help or contacting us. Please avoid including sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
- Platform information: when you launch a social or instant game, the platform may provide a game-scoped player identifier, display name, profile image, language and other information it makes available for the features you use. Social features may receive information about other players you can interact with, subject to platform permissions; this does not mean access to your entire friends list.
- Game activity: progress, scores, settings, session activity and interactions needed to run the game and understand its performance.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device details, operating system, access times, error reports and approximate location derived from an IP address. Hosting services may process access logs when you visit a website.
- Transactions, if offered: purchase identifiers, items purchased and transaction status supplied by the payment platform. Payment details entered directly with that platform are governed by its notice.
Optional features that request uploaded images, precise location or other additional information must explain that processing when the feature is offered. This policy alone is not permission to access your camera, contacts or location.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
We use relevant information to deliver game features, maintain progress, answer support requests, diagnose errors, improve usability, protect players, detect abuse, meet legal duties and resolve disputes. Advertising and analytics, where included in a game, are subject to the choices described below.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our agreement for requested services; legitimate interests for proportionate security, troubleshooting and improvement where those interests do not override your rights; legal obligations for required records; and consent for activities that require it, including certain tracking and optional communications. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not treat simply reading this policy as consent to optional processing.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
The AimyGO landing page supplied with this policy does not itself set cookies or include advertising or analytics scripts. Website hosting may still generate technical access logs. Individual games and their host platforms may use cookies, local storage or SDKs to remember progress, operate features, measure performance or show advertisements.
Where a game uses advertising or analytics partners, the relevant game notice or consent interface will identify the applicable partners and choices. Where required, non-essential storage, tracking and personalized advertising must remain off until you consent. You can use available consent settings, browser controls and platform or device advertising settings to change your choices. Disabling essential storage may affect saved progress.
Some advertising disclosures may be treated as a “sale”, “sharing” or targeted advertising under local law. Where applicable, you may opt out and we will honor legally required opt-out preference signals. No such advertising technology is included on this landing page.
5. When information is disclosed
Relevant information may be disclosed to service providers supporting hosting, security, customer support and game operations, subject to appropriate restrictions; to platforms and payment providers for the features they deliver; and to advertising or analytics partners only where those services are used and applicable requirements are met.
Your display name, avatar or score may be visible to other players when you use a social feature or leaderboard. Consider this before sharing content. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, investigate abuse, protect rights or manage a business transfer, subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements. Information is not made public merely because you contact support.
6. Retention and security
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Relevant factors include whether you still use the game, whether a support issue is resolved, the need to investigate fraud or disputes, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed. Limited records may remain where law permits or requires retention; backups are removed through their normal lifecycle and are not used for ordinary active processing.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information and risks. No system can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact us promptly and secure the platform account you use to access the game.
7. International processing
Platforms and service providers may process information outside the country where you live. Where a transfer is restricted by applicable law, we use an appropriate legal transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, and additional measures where needed. You can contact us for information about relevant destinations and safeguards. Use of the Services is not, by itself, consent to an otherwise restricted transfer.
8. Your rights and data deletion
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of your information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of targeted advertising and certain data disclosures. You may complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
Request deletion or exercise your rights
- Email [email protected] with the subject “AimyGO data deletion request” or describe the right you wish to exercise.
- Include the game name, platform and your player ID if available, so we can locate the relevant information. Never send your password or payment card details.
- We may request proportionate information to verify the request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If an exception applies, we will explain it.
For Facebook Instant Games, you can also manage or remove the game connection in Facebook settings and use any data-deletion option the platform provides. Removing a connection may not delete records already held by AimyGO; email us to request their deletion. Where applicable, authorized agents may submit requests with evidence of authority, and you may contact us to appeal a decision.
9. Children and younger players
The Services are not intended for children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law or the host platform. Players below the age of legal adulthood must have appropriate parent or guardian permission. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
10. Messages and policy updates
Optional game reminders or promotional messages are sent only when the relevant permission or other lawful basis is in place. You can turn them off using the available platform messaging controls or an unsubscribe option. Necessary service or support communications are separate.
We will update the date on this page when this policy changes and provide additional notice for material changes where required. If a new activity requires consent, we will ask before starting that activity. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
